Commissioning A Franko β The Short Version
If you want the shortcut before diving into the full page, here it is. The commission process is pretty simple: you tell me the idea, I quote it, a 20% deposit secures the work, I paint it, you approve it, and then it gets packed and sent your way.
1. Tell Me The Idea
Send the wall size, room photo, colours, subject, style, memory, rough concept or anything else that helps explain what you have in mind.
2. Receive A Quote
I will give you a clear price based on size, complexity, framing and delivery. No drama. No mystery invoice nonsense.
3. Pay The Deposit
A 20% deposit secures the commission and gets the painting started.
4. I Paint It
Most commissions are completed within 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the size, complexity and current workload.
5. Final Step
This card can be changed later. It could be approval, delivery, framing, shipping, or whatever wording you want here.

A client might send through a list of favourite movies, favourite bands, childhood cartoons, family jokes, old photos, pets, quotes, travel memories, drinks, brands, cars, games and strange little references that would make absolutely no sense to anyone else.
That is often exactly the point. The artwork becomes a private memory map. Some parts are obvious. Some are hidden. Some make visitors smile. Some only the family understands.

Can I commission something similar to a painting that has already sold?
